Provides mental health and substance abuse assessments for patients presenting to the emergency department Intake department or other areas of the hospital; pre-certification of insurance crisis intervention and referral to community resources. Position Details:
Education: Masters degree in Counseling Social Work or mental health degree : Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years behavioral health experience : Other: Excellent oral written and non-verbal communication skills required. Basic phone skills required. Must be able to listen and to understand and explain complex situations. Working knowledge and understanding of behavioral health issues facility programs insurance information and community resources redquired and must able to effectively communicate that Education: Preferred Licensure: LCSW or LPC Experience: Preferred Certifications: Preferred Other:
