Professional temporary teaching staff needed to teach SECONDARY courses in multiple disciplines for the Rochester Community Schools 2025 Summer Learning Program. Applications for these temporary positions will be accepted until filled.

Teachers will be expected to implement innovative instructional techniques that will lead to improved student achievement. Emphasis will be given to higher level thinking skills organizational skills integration of knowledge connecting learning to prior knowledge cooperative learning active participation of the learner and integration of technology. Teachers will be expected to administer the RCS common assessments appropriate for the particular assigned course of instruction. Actual numbers of positions are dependent upon the enrollment.

Adams High School

3200 W. Tienken Rd Rochester Hills Michigan

Session 1: June 16th to June 26th

Session II: June 29th to July 9

Session III: July 10th to July 21rd Online Only

Hours: 7:25am 2:05 pm

Mandatory Staff Meeting: June 15th Adams Media Ctr.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Valid Secondary Michigan Teaching Certificate.
  2. Desire to work with at-risk students.
  3. Desire to work with students who need to be academically challenged.



Certified Teachers needed in the following areas:

English/Language Arts - (BA/BS)

Social Studies (CX RX CA CB CC or CD)

Biology/Physical Science (DXDIDADCDE or DP)

High School Physical Education (MX or MB)

P.E. Health (MX)

Middle School Mathematics (EX)

High School and Middle School Mathematics (EX)

Counselors (Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with Counseling Endorsement and/or License)

Online Virtual (Edgenuity)

Middle School Health (MX)

SALARY:

$2800 stipend per session
