Job Description
As a Security Officer - Residential Guard Weekends in Pikesville MD you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests and vendors by carrying out access control procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Patrol the residential community including common areas amenity spaces and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor and document security-related activity including receiving calls for service observing cameras and/or alarm indicators when assigned and completing reports per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate responders and/or site representatives as needed.
- Support community rule compliance by communicating expectations professionally assisting with visitor check-in and/or parking guidance and escalating concerns through the established chain of command.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be comfortable using a computer and/or tablet preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
