The Registered Nurse (RN) manages the episode of patient care in partnership with persons care givers groups and other providers to reach a shared goal of delivering safe quality health care. This patient care may be through direct care by the RN or it may be through coordinating and supervising patient care delegated to Nursing Assistants and other unlicensed assistive personnel.
Work Schedule:
7:00am-3:30pm or
9:30am-6:00pm plus overnight off-premise on-call
Approximately 1 weeknight per week and 13-14 weekends per year of off-premise on-call
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
BSN/BAN in Nursing required.
At least 1 year of ICU or Cath Lab experience
Licensure/ Registration/ Certification:
Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association (AHA) guidelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education Experience or Equivalent Combination:
Graduate of a school of nursing
Knowledge Skills and Abilities:
Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.
