Position Summary
ProEnergy is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation & Controls (I&C) Technician to support the startup and commissioning of control systems and instrumentation on large-scale EPC power generation projects.

Travel: 90%
Essential Job Functions
- Assist mechanical technicians and engineers with installation alignment and testing of mechanical systems and equipment.
- Collaborate with electrical mechanical and controls teams to ensure system readiness and safe energization.
- Perform installation calibration and testing of field instrumentation including pressure temperature flow and level transmitters.
- Collaborate with electrical mechanical and controls teams to ensure system readiness and safe energization.
- Help prepare and maintain startup documentation including test records and punch lists.
- Perform material handling equipment setup and general labor tasks to support startup crews.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to all site safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Experience in I&C installation testing or commissioning in industrial or power generation environments preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding of electrical equipment operation electrical equipment maintenance requirements and maintenance restrictions imposed by safety and environmental regulations.
- Available to work flexible work schedules.
- Technical competence including understanding software hardware networks etc.
- Must have legal authority to permanently work in the U.S.
Additional Functions
- Previous experience on construction or industrial job sites preferred
- Ability to read and follow basic instructions drawings and safety procedures.
- Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced industrial environment.
- Physically able to lift 75 pounds climb ladders and work in outdoor conditions.
