Job Summary
MOR PPM Inc. is looking for a Helper in Temple TX.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Ability to identify all tools required for tasks.
- Operate machinery as qualified.
- Load/unload and place materials needed.
- Ability to identify safety risks and the precautions required to eliminate those risks.
- Assist journeyman in daily tasks and work orders.
- Assist on any miscellaneous construction processes.
- Clean up work areas.
Qualifications
- Must have knowledge on materials tools and processes involved with basic building techniques and form construction.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to work safely and follow all safety rules and regulations.
- At least 6-months as an industrial helper working in industrial construction environment. Prefer helpers with 2-years or more experience in pulp and paper or manufacturing environment.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
- Must complete Tappisafe online training
- May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must possess enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
- Must be able to move in and around confined spaces and uneven areas
- Must have full range of motion consistent with age
- Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
- Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees alarms and other job-related noises
- Visual acuity depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
- Safety/Steel toe shoes are required
