The Global Supply Chain Operations Organization seamlessly connects markets to the global manufacturing network by centrally managing supply inventory and replenishment planning balancing demand across markets products and manufacturing assets to ensure right first time order fulfillment everywhere.
The Customer Supply Manager owns the production packaging and replenishment plan for order fulfillment along the entire operational this role you will incorporate customer demand insights to execute central inventory management create feasible supply plans and lead cross-functional business review meetings with senior stakeholders to ensure performance targets and customer requirements are met or exceeded. As a Customer Supply Manager you will be accountable for the following key responsibilities:
Deliver executable supply plans for production packaging and scheduling for assigned assets and products
Perform reliable inventory management and replenishment planning to effectively meet demand and avoid obsolescence
Drive end-to-end trade-off analysis and decisions to allocate resources to the right priorities accounting for demand changes and supply constraints
Determine appropriate segmentation strategies replenishment models and planning parameters to meet market needs and improve productivity
Oversee the complete order fulfillment lifecycle to ensure the efficient timely and complete delivery of products
Act as an expert or senior advisor for supply planning and operations to management
Lead cross-functional improvement initiatives governance bodies and projects to ensure reliable supply and process optimization
We are looking for an agile professional with a growth mindset and an entrepreneurial spirit who possesses the following:
A bachelor degree in a relevant field and/or APICS certification (or equivalent); training in strategy finance and business acumen is a strong plus
Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in supply chain with a strong background in ERP (SD/MM) and supply chain planning systems
Ability to link responsibilities to the organizational mission focus on high-value activities and remain persistent in achieving key results
A commitment to teamwork establishing strong relationships and resolving conflict through openness and trust
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with the ability to lead cross-functional collaboration in a global network fluency in german is a strong plus
Location: Kaiseraugst (minimum one day per week) with the possibility to work from Basel the rest of the days.
