As a Security Guard - Patrol Driver in Brookwood AL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. You will conduct routine patrols complete driving patrols as needed with a valid drivers license stay highly visible to help to deter incidents and provide strong customer service and clear communication to employees and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of production areas warehouses yards parking areas and perimeter routes; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
- Monitor access points and support visitor and delivery processing by verifying authorization directing traffic flow and maintaining required logs in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications documenting observations and coordinating with site contacts and/or first responders as directed.
- Complete timely written and/or electronic reports including patrol activity incident documentation and daily logs and communicate relevant information during shift turnover.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
