The facility offers comprehensive cardiovascular care oncology orthopedics neurosciences minimally invasive and robotic surgery bariatric services womens health and wound therapy. The hospital is fully accredited and recognized for excellence in stroke care cardiac services and specialty surgical programs with a strong commitment to patient safety and quality outcomes.
Position Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Occupational Therapist to support patients in regaining independence functional mobility and quality of life following illness or this role you will provide individualized evidence-based therapy interventions while collaborating closely with physicians and an interdisciplinary care team.
This position offers access to advanced clinical resources strong team collaboration and opportunities for professional growth in a patient-centered acute care environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients functional abilities and develop individualized therapy plans in coordination with physicians and the care team.
Deliver skilled evidence-based occupational therapy interventions that promote healing independence and improved daily functioning.
Monitor patient progress adjust treatment plans as needed and maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Educate patients and families to support recovery safety and long-term independence.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure smooth transitions of care and optimal patient outcomes.
Provide guidance to therapy assistants or students as needed while upholding professional standards and organizational values.
Required Qualifications
Active State License as an Occupational Therapist.
Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (Vocational School Graduate required).
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required within 30 days of employment start date.
1 years of Occupational Therapy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical training may be considered.
