Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
(6 Positions Total - K-8)
(Contingent upon enrollment)
Qualifications (Required):
- Valid Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician.
- Experience working with students that have behaviors due to their disabilities as outlined in their IEP.
- Ability to relate /communicate effectively with teachers students parents and administrators.
- RBTs must commit to being present for each day of the program. See dates below for more info.
Qualifications (Preferred):
- Experience working in the Malden Public Schools.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to plan with the BCBA in order to create appropriate plans during ESY.
- Complete planning logs for each session and maintain student attendance records.
- Keep folders/portfolios with student work.
- Perform other related activities as required by the program coordinator.
Duration:
- Program Administration and Implementation 103 hours total to include the following:
- Professional In-service Days (Date TBD 3 hours).
- 20 days Monday-Thursday from July 6 August 6 (7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.).
Stipend: $25 an hour $2575 total (20 days/5 hrs 1 inservice at 3 hours)
Funding Source: Special Education
