Job Description
As a Security Officer - Checkpoint Screener in Fall River MA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as appropriate for a tech and data center style location.
- Screen employees visitors and contractors at designated entry points using approved methods such as magnetometer screening bag inspections and/or package screening in accordance with site-specific policies.
- Monitor access points and visitor flow verify identification and/or credentials and document entry and exit activity in logs and/or access control systems per post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas around the business and perimeter when assigned noting unusual conditions and reporting findings per site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
