The opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled R&D Engineer to join our Global Product Support Team and shape the future of our worldwide Surge Arrester this role you will make a direct impact on building a more reliable and sustainable power grid.

This position goes beyond pure engineering it requires strong stakeholder management crossfunctional collaboration and the ability to operate confidently in a global environment. You will work closely with colleagues from Sweden India China Bulgaria as well as with key local stakeholders from Supply Chain Management Production Operations Quality Product Management and our R&D Centers.

How youll make an impact

• Provide global product support (GPS) for our Surge Arrester portfolio

• Elaborate innovative product solutions following standards design rules guidelines and internal processes

• Lead and/or contribute to R&D and GPS projects

• Work with global R&D and GPS teams as well as Product Management Supply Chain Management and Operations

• Support on technical quality issue resolution.

• Ensure quality of suppliers production locations and parts

• Create maintain and release technical documentation: schematic designs calculations drawings parts lists configurators and instructions

• Maintain product master data in our PLM (Windchill) and ERP (SAP) systems
  

Your background

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related

• Proficiency in CAD (Creo AutoCAD) PLM (Windchill) and/or SAP system

• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently

• Experience in medium or high voltage surge arrester is an advantage

• Project management experience is a plus

• Openness to new challenges and a keen interest in learning and professional development

• Excellent analytical and communication skills

• Fluency in English; basic German skills are preferred or a willingness to learn German
