About the Opportunity

Our clients Application Evolution Services (AES) team is expanding and seeking a Senior SAP FI Specialist to support and modernize enterprise SAP environments for international clients.

This role is ideal for a hands-on SAP Finance expert who thrives in 2nd/3rd line support complex troubleshooting and continuous improvement within S/4HANA landscapes.

You will play a key role in ensuring stability quality and evolution of SAP FI solutions in a client-facing German-speaking environment.

What Youll Do

- Analyse and resolve complex issues in SAP FI within S/4HANA environments
- Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for incident and problem management
- Perform root cause analysis and implement sustainable fixes
- Configure SAP FI solutions aligned with client requirements
- Collaborate with 1st-level support and cross-functional IT teams
- Monitor ticket trends and identify improvement opportunities
- Execute minor projects and system change requests
- Maintain clear technical and process documentation
- Build trusted relationships with German-speaking clients

What Were Looking For

- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience with SAP FI and S/4HANA
- Proven background in 2nd/3rd line SAP support
- Experience implementing business processes using SAP standard solutions
- Understanding of third-party system integration with SAP FI
- Fluent German (min. B2) and English (min. B2)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- University degree (Bachelor/Master) or equivalent

Nice to Have

- SAP certifications in Finance or related modules
- ITIL knowledge or managed services experience
- Exposure to SAP CO or broader Finance modules
- Experience with S/4HANA Public Cloud
- Background in SAP migrations or upgrades
