The successful candidate will provide the support in progressing the various brownfield projects through the MoC funnel by providing Electrical and Subsea Power engineering expert advice as a discipline Lead Engineer and Discipline TA2 to the projects undertaken by Rashpetco including rehabilitation and brownfield addition to this He/ She is responsible for assuring the Pre-FEED FEED & Detailed Design of Electrical and Subsea Power systems of the Greenfield Projects delivered by the Projects Organization on ad hoc basis including but not limited to the participation in technical and compliance verification exercises e.g. SAFOP HAZOP HAZID Scope Challenge etc.
In addition to this the successful candidate will provide assurance of the Electrical and Subsea Power systems within the maintenance and operations domain.
Provide mentoring and coaching to the EP Contractors and in-house electrical and subsea power engineers regarding sound engineering practices and guidance on compliance with project specifications Shell and industry standards to achieve fit-for-purpose cost effective design solutions.
Be part of Rashpetco Engineering Leadership team and providing guidance to Rashpetco electrical and subsea power discipline resourcing competency management engineering standards and coaching of local staff.
The main purpose of the role is to provide Electrical and Subsea Power engineering support to the delivery and assurance of the brownfield projects and the assurance of the maintenance and operations in Rashpetco the accountabilities include:
Leading in the area of Health Safety Security and Environment (HSSE) and actively promoting the culture within the organization.
Providing support to Rashpetco Asset Engineering Manager as an Electrical and Subsea Power Discipline Lead Engineer & TA2 to assure the technical integrity of Rashpetco brownfield projects throughout their life-cycle and ensure strong delivery of these projects. This is done through delivery technical support and assurance of the design construction and commissioning of brownfield projects such that projects are implemented according to appropriate technical standards.
Providing support to Rashpetco Asset Engineering Manager as an Electrical and Subsea Power TA2 to assure the maintenance and operations domain by providing expertise knowledge in the PM strategies obsolescence strategies performance standards of safety-critical equipment RCAs ORAs maintenance deferral requestsetc.
Provide guidance to Rashpetco Electrical and Subsea Power discipline resourcing competency management engineering standards and coaching of local staff
Continually seeks to improve ways of working to improve performance and to improve value delivery to brownfield projects and ensures delivery of high quality critical as-built documents and drawings related to their respective asset.
Ensuring contractors deliverables comply with the Rashpetco Technical Standards Philosophy. Where compliance is lacking these need to be escalated to Rashpetco Asset Engineering Manager and other relevant authority levels.
Selection of discipline technical standards; and monitors compliance and report on gap assessments and closure plans.
Providing assurance of integrity in the design of the facilities systems and network e.g. re-use or replacement of equipment and brown-field sites. Supporting a robust design which is currently in execute phase across the multiple facilities.
Promote standardization & smart replication in engineering approaches.
Ensuring the processes procedures and tools are used and ensure their proper implementation by the Engineering Contractor.
Attending and participating in FATs.
Supporting the implementation of fit for purpose designs for both brownfield and greenfield sites within an organization that has had limited exposure to training and new technologies.
Establishing and maintaining a structured mentoring approach to transfer knowledge from Shell Secondees to local Rashpetco staff.
This position reports to the Rashpetco asset Engineering Manager. There will be direct involvement in the alignment and definition of several mln development plans for Rashpetco Brownfield projects portfolio through close cooperation with the field teams to provide interface management support.
No direct reporters for this position.

Brownfield projects in Rashpetco are an array of scopes: replacements re-use repair rehabilitation rejuvenation etc. This requires understanding of integrity risks as well as a pragmatic approach and mind-set with regards to repair and replacement decisions engineering and procedures. Structured risk assessments and creative out of the box thinking are therefore regularly required of facilities from design in 1998s.
Ability to work effectively with all the various nationalities & personalities within the asset.

To progressively introduce Rashpetco approach to HSE project execution standards and operations. Many interim solutions will need to be identified evaluated and implemented to bring facilities on line which may not meet Shells standard processes and acceptance criteria but which will still meet minimum assurance and operational boundaries.
Qualifications:
Required: Min. Bachelors degree in Electrical (Power) Engineering.
General Experience:
Expertise in brownfield project execution & experienced throughout project life-cycle (Engineering to Start-up support). Experienced as a Lead Electrical & Subsea Power engineer & TA2 in major brownfield execution / Turnaround projects is an added advantage.
Expertise in assuring maintenance works within the electrical and subsea power domain.
Specific Experience:
15 years of increasingly responsible Electrical and Subsea Power engineering experience including managing EPCM engineering contractor(s) and construction support at site.
Applied knowledge of HSSE framework and Technical Assurance Frameworks.
Sound experience in designing power generation and distribution facilities for Gas Compression stations.
Sound experience in designing Subsea Power networks.
deep knowledge in international standards in the areas his/her discipline.
Principles and procedures of record keeping and report preparation.
