Job Summary

After School Care Supervisor

IndianaCampus

Monday - Friday

10:00 am - 6:00 pm

Scope

The Aftercare Supervisor will provide enriching experiences after school in a safe structured and relaxed environment. Activities and programming will consistently align with Christian Academy School Systems mission statement: to develop students with a heart for God who grow as Jesus did in wisdom stature and in favor with God and men.

Qualifications

The candidate shall possess characteristics that reflect:

A strong clear Christian testimony with a mature and godly spirit
A daily example of the highest Christian virtue both in and out of school
Commitment to faithful attendance and support of a church whose beliefs are in agreement with the Statement of Faith for the Christian Academy School System
Agreement and belief that The Bible is the final authority concerning truth morality and the proper conduct of mankind

The ideal candidate shall:

Have a minimum of a high school diploma

Accountabilities/Responsibilities

Actively supervise and train the Aftercare worker(s)
Develop and implement weekly afternoon lesson plans
Organize SAC for in-service fall/winter/spring breaks and summer camps
Order SAC supplies as needed
Supervise K-5 students in the afterschool setting
Maintain record of daily check-in and check-out times of students
Develop and implement age-appropriate activities for each afternoon
Communicate with parents as needed
Assist JA/Elementary as needed during school hours
Lunch duty for Elementary

Outcomes

Assure students are supervised until pick up time
Christ-like relationships with students colleagues peers and parents

Reporting Relationship

The Aftercare Supervisor is responsible to the Elementary School Principal.
