Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Mobile Rounds in Charlotte NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal as an armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution where you will conduct routine patrols maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to situations with calm professionalism. You will support staff and visitors through strong customer service and clear communication while documenting key activities. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with applicable laws licensing requirements and site-specific protocols including proper handling and secure storage requirements as applicable.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation coordinating with site leadership and requesting law enforcement and/or emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility lobby areas and exterior perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Complete required activity logs incident reports and shift documentation and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and client contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 3 Years Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree.
- Client Requires Proof of HS Diploma/GED.
- Be at least 21 Years of Age.
- Armed Guard Card/License - preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
