As a Security Officer - Full-Time Municipal Patrol in Corpus Christi TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas conduct routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. You will assist visitors and staff with courteous service clear communication and timely reporting. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service at a government location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings public areas and perimeter routes checking doors gates lighting and restricted areas for irregularities.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity assist with directions and general inquiries and help to report unauthorized entry loitering and/or policy violations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including dispatching appropriate notifications and documenting actions taken.
• Complete timely written reports activity logs and incident documentation and communicate observations to site leadership and/or public protection personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state county or city issued security license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
