Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team in Columbus Ohio. As a Video Editor you will be responsible for creating high-quality and engaging video content for our online platforms including social media website and promotional materials.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit and assemble raw footage into a polished final product ensuring the highest quality standards are met

- Work closely with the creative team to understand project objectives and deliver videos that align with our brands vision and style

- Utilize various editing techniques including color correction sound mixing and motion graphics to enhance the overall quality of the videos

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our videos

- Manage and organize video files and assets to ensure efficient workflow and easy access for future projects

- Meet project deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously

- Continuously communicate and collaborate with team members to ensure a smooth and efficient video production process

Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Film Media or a related field

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Video Editor preferably in a fast-paced environment

- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or Avid Media Composer

- Strong understanding of video production processes including shooting lighting and sound recording

- Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects is a plus

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills

- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work is required
