Job Summary

Position: Video Editor

The Salon Hype is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Video Editor you will be responsible for creating high-quality visually appealing videos that will be used for various marketing and promotional purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Edit raw footage into engaging and professional videos that align with the companys brand and vision

- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project objectives and deliver videos that meet their requirements

- Utilize video editing software and other tools to enhance the quality of the videos

- Incorporate music sound effects and graphics to enhance the overall impact of the videos

- Ensure that all videos are delivered on time and meet the necessary technical specifications

- Continuously stay updated on industry trends and techniques to ensure the videos are cutting-edge and visually appealing

- Manage and organize all video files and footage to ensure easy access and retrieval

- Collaborate with the team to brainstorm and develop new video ideas and concepts

- Ensure all videos adhere to copyright laws and obtain necessary permissions for any copyrighted material used

Requirements:

- Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role

- Strong portfolio showcasing previous video projects and technical skills

- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro or similar programs

- Knowledge of motion graphics animation and visual effects

- Excellent time management and organizational skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines

- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with team members

- Knowledge of copyright laws and permissions for using copyrighted material in videos
