What Youll Do

As a CNC Operator at our Avon Lake facility youll be a vital part of our machining team. You will operate CNC machines and machining centers to produce high-quality metallic and nonmetallic parts according to specifications. Your role is focused on machine operationyou wont be responsible for machine setupbut you will ensure parts are fabricated accurately and efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Operating CNC and other machining equipment according to standard operating procedures Make Adjustments as necessary in vary CNC equipment.
Reading and interpreting blueprints sketches and part specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances
Inspecting finished parts using micrometers calipers and other precision measuring tools
Documenting production and inspection results as required
Maintaining a clean organized and safe work area
Following all safety protocols including proper use of PPE
Adhering to work schedules including start/end times breaks and cleanup periods

What Youll Bring

High school diploma or GED required
Ability to read and comprehend blueprints diagrams and written instructions
Basic shop math skills
Experience with micrometers calipers or other precision measuring tools
Strong attention to detail and quality
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Physical ability to stand bend twist reach and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
Willingness to learn and follow processes carefully
