Job Description
The Department of Pathology Heersink School of Medicine at the University of Alabama at Birmingham ( UAB ) is inviting applications from qualified candidates at the Associate and Full Professor level for two full-time open tenure earning positions to strengthen our research programs across the following broad areas: Cardiovascular and Cardiometabolic Disease Neurodegeneration Infectious disease and Immunity In addition the Department of Pathology is participating in institutional initiatives in faculty recruitment in Neurosciences and Cancer .

Required Qualifications
Candidates must have an M.D. or Ph.D. in relevant disciplines. Successful candidates will have a demonstrated record of originality and productivity in research and scholarly activity including previous and current extramural funding and an interest in graduate and medical education.
