Job Summary

About The Role

This position supports the Ontario region and aims to foster and develop operational efficiencies for both new and existing practices with a focus on evoking standardization across the respective region such as workflow compliance Epic data integrity and overall use of our Broker Management addition this position also supports M&A activity and other key initiatives as they arise in the region.

What Youll Do

  • Applied Epic specialist for the Ontario Region. Respond to regional Operations team enquiries specific to Epic and other third-party applications. This would include assisting with user acceptance testing (UAT) for Epic upgrades

  • Work with the Manager of Operations & Training to identify training needs to develop appropriate material delivery method and scheduling etc.

  • Work with the Operations Process Coordinator and Hub Enterprise Applications to facilitate Epic script changes

  • Log escalate and approve IT requests for structure access or changes

  • Consult and assist with Broker Standards and Operational efficiencies projects put forth by the business

  • Investigate/Advocate/Implement third party software add-ons and Epic functionality to improve operational efficiencies through RFP and industry conferences

  • Provide hands on understanding guidance and support for new enterprises and regional solutions

  • Provide M&A support for both migration planning and Go-Live in Epic as they occur

  • Perform additional ad hoc duties as assigned.

  • Consult and assist with Broker Standards and Operational efficiencies projects put forth by the business

  • Provide support for Corporate File Audits

Qualifications and expertise that pave the way for Success

  • College Diploma or University Degree

  • Minimum 3 years of experience within the insurance industry; Applied Epic knowledge is a must.

  • Resilient and adaptable with the capacity to thrive in a continuously evolving environment

  • Hybrid working situation. Must attend in office as required

  • Valid Drivers License

  • Occasional travel to our Ontario offices

  • Expert in Microsoft Office: Excel Outlook Word

  • Strong organizational time and client management skills

  • Effective communication skills: verbal and written

  • Proactive and customer focused approach with strong initiative and follow up and follow through skills

  • Tech-savvy and eager to learn

The expected salary range for this position is$57000 to $82000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidates skills experience andworking location as well as the specific positions business line scope and level.
