Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and customer-focused Remote Chat & Email Support Representative to join our insurance support team at Ascendant Insurance this role you will be responsible for responding to inquiries resolving policy-related questions and providing exceptional service via live chat and email. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills problem-solving ability and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via live chat and email
  • Provide accurate information regarding insurance policies coverage options billing and claims processes
  • Assist customers with policy updates payments and general account support
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate departments when necessary
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and insurance regulations
  • Meet performance metrics including response time resolution rate and satisfaction scores

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year of customer service experience
  • Excellent written communication and grammar skills
  • Strong attention to detail and multitasking ability
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Proficient with CRM systems email platforms and live chat tools
  • Basic understanding of insurance terminology (training provided if needed)
