Beffas is a locally owned neighborhood bar and restaurant seeking a hands-on General Manager to lead day-to-day operations. This is a growth opportunity for a motivated operator ready to take full operational ownership in an independent community-driven environment.
The GM will oversee bar and kitchen operations manage staff control prime cost and work directly with ownership to improve revenue and profitability.
This role is ideal for a strong Assistant GM Bar Manager or Kitchen Manager ready to step into a full leadership position.
Oversee daily FOH and BOH operations
Create and manage staff schedules
Ensure consistent open/close procedures
Maintain service food quality and cleanliness standards
Monitor food cost and labor cost (prime cost focus)
Manage ordering and inventory (food and liquor)
Reduce waste and improve cost efficiency
Review weekly sales and labor reports with ownership
Hire train and develop staff
Maintain accountability and professional culture
Handle performance and disciplinary issues
Support event nights and promotional initiatives
Maintain strong guest engagement
Identify operational improvements that drive revenue
24 years restaurant/bar management experience
Strong understanding of food and labor cost control
Experience supervising both kitchen and bar teams
Organized accountable and self-motivated
Comfortable in a hands-on environment
