Assistant Manager, Warehouse & Mailroom Universal Kids Resort

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible foroversightofthe warehouse and mail room operation to include but not limited toreceivingstoring deliveryand shipmentof all goods and related supplies used byvarious Universal Kids Resort(UKR) dailydirectiontostaffto ensure theeffective operation ofthewarehouse andmail roomincluding the handling ofincoming and outgoing mail and packages.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Overseestheeffectiveoperation of the UKR warehouse spaces and mail room. Ensureslabor goals efficienciessafetyand quality standards are being met and addressed handles and properly reports any incidents Team Member issues and operational and efficiently executes requests made by other departmentsrelated to warehouse and mail room needs.
• Responsible for overseeingtheoutgoing shipment andreceivingof all goods packages and mailincludingbut not limited toMerchandiseFood andBeverage productsRide &Show productssuppliesand more toand fromthe warehouse/storage areasand packagessuppliesandproducts are delivered to various UKR departments inan accurateandtimelymannerexpeditingurgent Team Members are appropriately and safely handlingprocessingand storing all items.Ensuressafety compliance andkeepssafety a top priority of the team.
• Responsible for hiring training coaching and developing assignedteam. Establishes initiatives and ensuresteamisexecuting those initiatives to increase Team Member Satisfaction (TSAT) and Guest Satisfaction(GSAT)according to plan/strategy. SupportsSupervisors withthe coaching performancemanagementand counseling of hourly TeamMembers.
• Enforces department policies and proceduresinclusive oftraining and safety while working with the Manager toidentifyand develop new departmental policies and procedures.Maintainslabor budgets and labor optimization through effective scheduling and coverage.Approves and creates weekly schedules for distribution to Team Members.
• Responsible for providing duty manager coverage for assignedareaas needed. Duties will include responding toescalated incidentsand making the propernotificationsincluding Sr. projects seasonal initiatives and sustainment efforts.
• Understand and activelyparticipatein Environmental Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UDXpolicy procedures training and team member involvement activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

• Supervises a Non-Exempt team.

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws.
• Must be able toworka flexible andvaryingschedule based on business needs.

EDUCATION:

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred. Bachelorsdegree is preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

• 3years in Warehouse ShippingReceivingand Inventory Control experiencerequired1years of supervisory experiencerequired;or equivalent combination of education and experience.
