As a Security Officer - Cycle Patrol Unarmed in West Hollywood CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal you will monitor assigned areas through routine foot and bicycle patrols maintain a visible presence that helps to deter security-related incidents and respond to concerns with clear communication and strong customer service. You will document activity support site guidelines and work closely with a team that is agile reliable and innovative putting people first while acting with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and the public by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols of assigned buildings grounds streetscape areas and perimeter points to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify maintenance and operational concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting appropriate resources and documenting actions taken.
• Monitor access points and public areas provide directions and assistance and observe for suspicious activity hazards and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed written reports and shift logs communicate observations to site leadership and support security-related investigations as directed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be able to ride a bike.
• Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
