Senior Cost Accountant Analyst

We have a cost accountant / analyst position available working for the Flow Controls Division supporting multiple manufacturing sites. This role will provide accounting reporting and analysis to support company objectives and improvements for inventory management product cost / profitability manufacturing productivity and overall process efficiency across several locations.

Our teams work together to ensure our chosen work schedules enable our creativity and productivity as we serve the needs of our customers.

In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare assigned monthly journal entries accurately and on time.
• Responsible for performing account reconciliations to ensure transactions are recorded in compliance with accounting standards.
• Prepare and communicate monthly analysis of manufacturing variances
• Provide support for annual internal and external audits by working cross functionally.
• Perform account reconciliations to ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards.
• Prepare and communicate monthly analysis of manufacturing variances providing clear and actionable insights.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to identify and resolve vendor discrepancies effectively.
• Support annual internal and external audits by coordinating with cross-functional teams.
• Support to additional tasks and projects as assigned demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
• Perform all duties in accordance with Company Business Conduct Guidelines.

For This Role You Will Need:

• Bachelors degree in accounting finance or related business field.
• 5 years or more of related experience in accounting or finance.

• Experience working in a global organization is desirable.

• Must be accounting focused with a good knowledge of GAAP.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite.

Technical Knowledge Requirements:

• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook Teams etc.)
• Experience working in a manufacturing industry is preferred.
• Oracle and/or Hyperion experience preferred.

Traits & Skills:

• Fluent English language: TOEIC 700 points
• Ability to learn internal tools
• Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong business sense critical thinking and analytical/technical skills.
• Possess the ability to multitask prioritize work independently and in a group setting.
