The candidate will carry out regular attending duties within the Division of Cardiology as well asparticipatein teaching and training of fellows house staff and medical students. ACGME-accredited Cardiology fellowship programs including Cardiovascular Disease Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Adult Congenital Heart Disease Interventional Cardiology as well as Texas Medical Board-accredited fellowship programs in Structural Interventional Cardiology Advanced Echocardiography Cardio-Oncology and Cardiology Advanced Research and Clinical Training Hypertension.
A close collaboration exists with the Department of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgerycomprisedof skilled cardiac surgeons who serve as a regional referral source for complex quaternary care.

Applicants should meet these qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) or foreign equivalent
Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited cardiology and Interventional Cardiology fellowship programs
Board Certified in Cardiology and subspecialty board in Interventional Cardiology.
An unrestricted license to practice medicine in Texas
