Job Summary: As a Staff Data Scientist with expertise in the GenAI stack (audio & video generation models) you serve as a strategic thinker who can independently execute complex projects and deliver actionable insights and solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of data science methodologies and a proven track record of driving business growth through data-driven strategies.

Our platform highlights creators and their narratives by giving them AI-powered systems using advanced machine learning and multimedia pipelines. As part of this team youll work at the intersection of creativity and technology building end-to-end experiences experimenting with emerging tech and shaping the future of entertainment content.
Key responsibilities
- Design prototype and refine deep learning models for text-to-video and image-to-video generation using cutting-edge techniques in generative AI (e.g. diffusion models transformers temporal GANs)
- Develop robust pipelines for dataset curation preprocessing training and model evaluation including automated visual temporal and semantic quality metrics
- Lead data science features from concept to production ensuring they meet strategic goals and deliver tangible business outcomes. Invest in and enhance model development testing and release pipelines for efficient and reliable deployment
- Work closely with product managers engineering teams and senior leadership to define use cases set priorities and bring production-grade AI systems to life
- Run A/B tests iterate based on performance feedback and ensure alignment with product experience goals and creative quality standards
- Stay ahead of the curve in the fast-moving GenAI space; guide strategy share insights internally and represent the team in technical forums as needed
Skills and attributes for success
- Proven experience with deep learning architectures for generative tasks (e.g. diffusion models transformers GANs)
- Strong understanding of LLMs with hands-on experience in fine-tuning prompt engineering and evaluating foundation models for applied use-cases for multimodal generation
- Preferred understanding of computer vision natural language processing and multimodal learning
- Strong exposure to ML evaluation techniques including perceptual quality metrics and user-in-the-loop testing
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R and SQL
- Experience with big data technologies (e.g. Hadoop Spark) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Google Cloud)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred education and experience
- Masters or PhD in Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or related quantitative field with 7 years hands-on experience in data science with last few years working with GenAI stack especially audio & video modalities
