This includesthe identification cultivationsolicitationand stewardshipof a portfolio ofsignificantdonors and prospectsprimarilyresidingin focus of this role is to deepen relationships within the regionwith individuals as well as some foundations and corporationstogrow the number of supportersmaking five-figureand RoleManage a portfolio of individual foundation and corporate donors and prospects in the ThompsonOkanaganKootenays region who give or have the capacity to give $5000 to local and provincial and implement an annual portfolio plan including identification personalizedcultivationand stewardship strategies toensure retention and growth of revenueand the number of donors giving fivefigure and write personalized proposals compelling letters strong funding applications and inspiring gratitude and exceed revenue andmovesmanagement targets within theMajor Givingportfolio annual plan as guided by theManager MajorGivingand in collaboration with theMajor as the Major Giving TOKleadto articulate funding priorities projects and develop budgets to support as an expert resource for the Major Giving team when others have donors in their portfolio with an identified interest in work being done in the TOK meaningfulcreativeandappropriate stewardshipfor donors in their portfolio includingdemonstratingthe direct impact of the donors recognition by working withappropriate BC SPCAstaff to ensure all commitments and deliverables are for andparticipatein face-to-face meetings and solicitations partnering with Executive and Senior Leaders RegionalStaffand senior volunteer fundraisers lead projects as assigned to improve processes and procedures of portfolio management at the BC SPCA. Participate in and contribute to developing the donor pipeline with colleagues managing major and mid-level giving portfolios including the identification and stewardship of mid-level and expectant Duties:Collaborate with theSenior OfficerEvents(TOK)on donor identification cultivationsolicitationand stewardship activities to help grow event Managersin the regionwith non-fundraising opportunities to build community engagement and connections (attend community meetings and events whereappropriate).Act as an ambassador for the BC SPCA by sharing the organizations story and values within the region fostering meaningfulconnectionsand encouraging community the year support the Communications and Digital teams by sourcing and providing local story and image RegionalManagerandCentre Managersin the regionto ensure front-line staff process donations accurately promptly and provide excellent customer service to donors and the inquiries provide information andassistin resolving complaintsin a timely records in Raisers Edge and other tracking systems ensuring all correspondence and interactions are research on current and prospective relevant measures and metrics to evaluate the success of the assigned on activities regularly to theManager Major Givingand to the Senior Director Philanthropy and other staff to quarterly reporting on key philanthropy initiatives and activities for the Board andcontributeto teamdepartmentand organization meetings.
