Job Summary
The Dover-Sherborn High School is seeking a School Counselor for the upcoming 2026-27 School candidate must exhibit the following requirements: -Masters degree in School Counseling or a closely related field-Demonstrated experience in schools as a high school counselor-Strong knowledge base of adolescent growth and development-Strong knowledge base in college and post-secondary counseling-Strong counseling and crisis intervention skill set-Demonstrated technology skills with various computer programs including: Scoir Google Platform and Aspen SIMS (or a similar SIMS)-Working knowledge of MTSS strategies within general and special education-Experience facilitating 504 eligibility meetings-Experience in using multiple data sources to help assess student progress and improve student performance-Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced team environment-Strong interpersonal and communication skills are a must
