Principal Accountabilities
- Ensure safe operation of utilities and refrigeration systems by applying knowledge of Hazmat Emergency Response (ER) and Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
- Maintain the reliability and safe performance of ammonia refrigeration boiler systems and other highly hazardous industrial processes
- Ensure accurate documentation planning and execution of maintenance tasks by effectively using computers and the facilitys computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Support equipment reliability and predictive maintenance programs by utilizing PdM technologies such as infrared (IR) ultrasonic (UE) vibration analysis (VA) and oil analysis (OA)
- Maintain system functionality by applying technical knowledge of hydraulics pneumatics PLCs electrical systems and mechanical components during maintenance and troubleshooting activities
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to read write and speak English
- High school diploma or GED
- 1-2 years of industrial refrigeration experience in an industrial environment
- Experience using computers and a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)
- Ability to work overtime weekends and cover shifts before or after scheduled work
- Prior experience working in a Process Safety Management (PSM)regulated ammonia refrigeration or hazardous process environment
- Must successfully complete a Pulmonary Function Test

- Work history in the past 12 months
