Job Summary:

KBR is seeking to hire an Electronics Maintenance Technician III in support of the U.S. Navy /Air Force CYP CCTV Lifecycle Support Service program. A successful candidate must have a solid history of functioning in a team environment being a self-starter working independently with limited instruction and meeting critical demands.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide preventive and remedial maintenance services on IP-based CCTV systems.
  • Diagnose and correct equipment malfunctions and failures.
  • Perform function tests and analysis on various systems.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning on all CCTV system components.
  • Provide on-site system training and technical support as needed.
  • Update the web-based maintenance management system and provide tracking of government equipment.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Formal electronics training from: Technical School or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications or four (4) year electronics apprentice program. Formal electronics training to include: Installation Tasks Soldering Cable Dressing Cable Tray Conduit and Making/Repairing Connectors.
  • Eight (8) years of practical experience to include: electronics repair maintenance and checkout.
    • Two (2) years of experience to include: supervision and shop practices.
    • Three (3) years of practical experience to include: electronics repair and installation.
  • Standard MS Office software product knowledge (Word Outlook Excel and PowerPoint) is required.
  • Position requires ability to obtain a Genetec Omnicast certification
  • No clearance. A successful candidate will be subject to a background investigation.
  • 70% travel is required; the candidate must be willing to travel throughout the United States and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preference to candidate with IP-based CCTV experience.
  • Special consideration is given to candidates with OEM factory training from Genetec Axis and/or Cisco Switches.

Scheduled Weekly Hours:

40 hours. M-F 7am-3pm or 8am-4pm

This is a Service Contract Act (SCA) position.
