What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff visitors and/or vendors at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting observations and reporting concerns through established communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity; working environments and conditions may vary by site.
- Monitor access points alarms and/or surveillance systems as assigned and support visitor management and controlled entry procedures per site policy.
- Complete routine reports shift logs and incident documentation and coordinate with site contacts and local responders as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 1 years law enforcement experience or 2 years security supervisor/manager experience or 3 years security experience.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
