You are a strategic and analytical Total Rewards professional with expertise in compensation benefits and employee programs. You bring strong financial modeling job evaluation and data analysis skills to design fair competitive and compliant programs. Accountable and transparent you clearly communicate decisions aligned with organizational goals. You thrive in fast-paced environments partnering with leaders and HR to deliver innovative total rewards solutions that drive engagement and performance.

You have:
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources Finance Industrial Relations or a related field or an equivalent combination of education training and experience
- 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources with 3 years of experience in compensation or total rewards including experience designing and managing Canadian benefits and compensation programs within a broader public sector agency and/or medium to large sized private or public corporation with unionized workforces
- Knowledge of employment legislation (ESA Ontario Human Rights Code WSIA Pay Equity Act Collective Agreements)
- Strong analytical planning organizational and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality
- Clear concise verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with job evaluation job analysis compensation analysis market research and pay equity compliance
- Experience designing and managing Canadian compensation and benefits programs
- Ability to analyze trends interpret survey data and recommend data-driven solutions
- Experience managing vendors leading RFPs and supporting labour relations matters
- Strong influencing skills and ability to engage leaders on strategic compensation objectives
- Self-motivated adaptable and comfortable i high-performing environments
Nice to have:
- Certified Human Resources Professional/Leader (CHRP/L) designation
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation
What you will do:
Partner with Business Units to provide total rewards guidance
Provide direction to HR colleagues on compensation and benefits practices
Design and administer compensation programs (salary reviews merit variable pay structures total compensation statements)
Maintain job architecture and job evaluation frameworks
Conduct annual pay equity analysis and ensure legislative compliance
Analyze compensation/benefits data develop financial models and recommend adjustments
Design and enhance benefits recognition and employee programs
Manage vendors and lead RFP processes
Develop communications and training materials
Support labour relations matters related to total rewards
Monitor trends and compliance requirements to keep programs competitive
Contribute to budgeting and forecasting to ensure resources are allocated for total rewards and employee programs
- Willingness to travel to head office field offices and corporate events across Ontario as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
