As a Security Officer - Driver Patrol Rounds in San Diego CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting critical utility operations. You will conduct routine patrols throughout the location maintain a highly visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents and respond to reports with clear communication and strong customer service. This is a driving post so you will use a company-approved vehicle to cover assigned areas document activity and collaborate with a team that acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating to site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities operational areas and perimeter routes to help identify unusual activity hazards and/or unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and company property observing for policy violations and/or suspicious conditions and report findings to appropriate site personnel.
• Complete required documentation such as patrol logs incident reports and shift activity reports in accordance with site requirements and Allied Universal guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
