OBJECTIVES/PURPOSE

• The Pricing Analyst is expected to deliver pricing analytics while ensuring that projects are delivered to schedule while maintaining the highest level of quality and value expectations.

• The associate should be adept in utilizingpharmaceutical pricing data and tools (including excel-driven analytics price databases pricing platforms) in leading and facilitating pricing analyses such as value-based pricing analyses list price management IRP etc.

• The role requires demonstrated pharmaceutical pricing experience and ability to collaborate and communicate with different stakeholders to drive processes and collaboration

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Deliver planned and ad-hoc pricing analytics to deliver pricing insights to the GPP team through analytical activities such as price benchmarking analog analysis price trends analysis relevant price forecasts impact of market events on price/access across global markets etc

• Support standard pricing processes such as running pricing models presenting pricing cases pricing certificates etc

• Support the timely input and validation of key assumptions to run a launch planning analysis: price listing and introduction timelines expected price and expected unit sales

• Run IRP analysis to estimate the cross-country IRP risk and share analysis with relevant stakeholders closely aligning on request and expected IRP impact

• Where necessary:

  • Support price change request facilitation according to the pricing governance process

  • Support the performance of data quality check in pricing platform for price launch and price change request and follow up with initiating and impacted countries to validate expected price changes where required

• Work effectively across functions and geographies with a focus on customer needs to achieve goals and ensure stakeholder alignment

• Work towards supporting the ICC GPP delivery teams strategic pricing capabilities and embed GPP pricing excellence

EDUCATION BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:

Essential

• Bachelors / Masters Degree in science economics pharmacy MBA

• Minimum of 4-5 years experience in pharmaceutical pricing and market access acquired at leading industry companies or relevant consultancy companies

• Understand pricing and access activities needed at key drug development and commercialization milestones to be able to deliver integrated pricing insights

• Excellent analytical skills and ability to draw insights/derive implications from the analytical research

• Process-oriented with good project management multi-tasking skills analytical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Proficient in word excel powerpoint analytical tools etc

• Good communication & team collaboration skills comfortable working with an international cross-functional team and stakeholders

• Comfortable with ambiguity and experience of working in multi-matrixed organizations with a growth/continuous learning mindset
