About The Role
The Facilities and Mail Services Technician is responsible for distributing internal mail and packages between the Altasciences addition to this the Facilities and Mail Services Technician participates in support services such as deliveries to and from supply stores financial institutions and performs build. maintenance general tasks.

What Youll Do Here

• Deliver internal mail between facilities and manage special deliveries as requested by the operations team.

• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of outdoor areas including walkways parking lots parking garages and sidewalks.

• Conduct routine safety equipment inspections.

• Respond to maintenance requests submitted by clients in a timely and professional manner.

• Assist the building maintenance team with general maintenance tasks such as basic tasks like painting and general maintenance such as replacing burnt lighting replacing damaged or stained ceiling tiles and assisting with office moves.

• Accompany contractors and vendors to ensure work is completed according to specifications and requirements.

• Join the on-call rotation and be available to address emergency maintenance issues and ensure facility safety outside regular hours.

What Youll Need to Succeed

• High school diploma completed.

• Minimum of 5 years of car driving experience.

• Class 5 valid drivers license.

• Fluency in both French and English

• Able to lift weight up to 50 lbs.

• Personal/professional integrity and proven discretion in handling confidential information.

• Must be self-directed motivated and have a willingness to take the initiative to identify and anticipate client needs.

• Dependable professional acts with a sense of urgency.

• Well organized with good interpersonal skills.

• Attentive to details.

• Good decision making and problem-solving ability.

• Customer-focused.

• Capable of being available for work on an emergency basis.

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet navigation capabilities.

• Available to travel to our Montreal Sites (1200 and 1100 Beaumont 1255 Trans Canadienne) Laval Site (575 Armand Frappier).
