CENTRAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL Taber

Central Elementary School is an Early Learning to Grade 5 school. Central School supports a diverse community of learners in the heart of Taber with a student population of about 225 students.

Temporary 0.5 FTE Teacher- Monday- Thursday mornings

Taber Central School is seeking a temporary elementary teacher to commence on March 16. This temporary part-time position will include a teaching schedule of Mon-Thursday mornings.

Central School is a collaborative space where staff work with one another within a holistic student-first approach. Teacher education and experience specific to English Language Arts and Numeracy at the upper elementary level would be considered an asset. Training experience or professional development in other areas could include but is not limited to: working with English as Additional language learners literacy interventions differentiation social emotional learning and new curriculum implementation. An understanding of inclusion and support for diverse learners would be seen as a strength.

The position commences March 16 2026 and concludes June 19 2026 .
