Job Summary
Job Description – PLC Programmer
Position: PLC Programmer – Industrial Robotics & Automation
Location: Ahmedabad (Santej Gujarat)
Experience: 2–5 Years
Industry: Industrial Robotics & Smart Manufacturing
Annual CTC: 3.5 – 6 LPA
Key Responsibilities
1. PLC & Control System Development
Develop test and implement PLC programs for industrial automation systems.
Program motion control systems including servo drives and coordinated axis control.
Configure and program IPC-based control platforms (Beckhoff B&R Advantech etc.).
Develop structured logic using TwinCAT or IEC 61131-3 environments.
2. C/C Customization
Write modify and debug C/C code for customized control logic.
Develop communication interfaces between PLCs robots and external devices.
3. Integration & Commissioning
Integrate servo drives sensors actuators safety systems and HMI panels.
Conduct machine testing debugging and validation.
Support on-site installation and commissioning at customer locations.
Troubleshoot real-time automation and motion-related issues.
4. Documentation & System Validation
Prepare and maintain PLC documentation and I/O mapping.
Coordinate with the electrical team for control logic validation.
Ensure system safety compliance reliability and performance optimization.
Required Skills
2–5 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming & machine automation.
Experience with:
Beckhoff TwinCAT (Preferred)
Siemens TIA Portal
Mitsubishi PLC
Motion control & servo integration
B&R / Advantech / IPC platforms
Robot integration knowledge (KUKA ABB FANUC – added advantage).
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (EtherCAT Modbus Profinet).
Ability to read electrical drawings and control schematics.
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to travel for commissioning.
Preferred Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in:
