Job Summary

Job Description
Open Rank/Open Tenure faculty position in the Department of Neurology Division of Neuromuscular Disease. Will establish an excellent academic and clinical program in neuromuscular disease. Clinical service includes ambulatory clinic electromyography studies nerve and muscle conduction studies autonomic testing and other clinical activities. Expected to participate in clinical research projects with the ability to develop additional independent and collaborative research and to participation in department educational activities as well department and University service activities.

Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree eligible for unrestricted Alabama medical license. Board certified/board eligible in Neurology with additional certification/eligibility in Neuromuscular Medicine Clinical Neurophysiology or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience clinical diagnosis and treatment of neuromuscular disorders graduate medical education teaching experience prior participation in research programs.
