Job Description
Were expanding! A new division of Womens Health Pathology has been created at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. We are seeking pathologists with subspecialty training or expertise in Breast and/or Gyn pathology. Candidates should be interested in Academic Surgical Pathology.
Required Qualifications
Candidates should have a M.D. D.O. or M.D. / Ph.D. Board Certification in anatomic pathology and eligibility for an Alabama medical license is required. Candidates beyond starting Assistant Professors should also have a record of substantial academic pathology productivity including publications and participation in national societies. Subspecialty expertise in Breast and/or GYN is required.
Preferred Qualifications
Subspecialty expertise in perinatal pathology will be favorably considered. Interest in other subspecialties may be considered.
