The primary function of the Environmental Service Technician is to maintain the building grounds facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
Follow maintenance schedules and safety precautions
Perform repairs (plumbing HVAC electrical roofing flooring)
Install shelving fixtures and perform painting
Floor care and preventive maintenance
Operate generators and maintain grounds (snow removal debris cleanup)
Transport residents as needed
Attend training and report exposures
Qualifications:
High school diploma (trade school preferred)
2 years healthcare mechanic experience
Knowledge of mechanical electrical plumbing systems
Ability to read blueprints and follow safety codes
Strong customer service and communication skills
Physical Requirements:
Frequent lifting (25 lbs) bending kneeling
Exposure to noise infectious waste hazardous chemicals
Ability to cope with stress and work flexible hours
