Job Summary

Founded in 2012 N-iX Games is one of the biggest game development and art production vendors in Ukraine and Poland working with leading publishers and media enterprises around the globe as a service provider. The team of 100 professionals focuses on full-cycle game development team extension VR solutions and content creation for all the most popular platforms. The studio has successfully collaborated with over 40 clients including Blizzard Entertainment Ubisoft Gearbox Software Paradox Interactive Tempo Storm and Supermassive Games.

As a Senior Game Designer in our team you would be responsible for creating documenting and improving exciting game mechanics. There will be creative work - story mechanics art style as well as technical design - correct and useful documentation game balancing monetization analysis of player behavior and a lot more so prepare to sink deep into the design space where there are no limits.

Responsibilities:

Define and guide the creative and technical direction of games ensuring visual and interaction quality align with defined standards for accessibility brand and educational outcomes.
Oversee asset creation workflows and pipelines ensuring all visuals are optimised for maximum performance on the desired platform. Lead the development of reusable systems and libraries that support scalable production.
Work closely with animators illustrators product designers engineers and educators to ensure cohesive production-ready experiences that meet learning goals and creative expectations.
Review and provide feedback on game and asset outputs ensuring all deliverables maintain visual polish usability and alignment with our design principles.
Identify propose and implement process enhancements that improve efficiency collaboration and overall team productivity.
Communicate plans milestones and challenges effectively to stakeholders leadership and partner teams ensuring clarity on priorities timelines and resourcing needs.

Requirements:

5 years of experience in game production
Proven experience shipping games or interactive educational products on web and/or mobile.
Excellent grasp of user experience and accessibility principles in games.
Familiarity with Unity Godot or similar 2D engines.
Strong communication and organisational skills comfortable balancing creative and operational priorities.
Familiarity with Jira Trello or other production management tools.
English level - Upper-intermediate
