Job Summary
Junior Data Analyst
Toronto Ontario Canada 1-Year Contract Hybrid (12 days/week in Downtown Toronto)
Pay Rate: $38.18/hour (T4) $46.60/hour (Incorporated)
About the Role
The Junior Data Analyst will support data-driven decision-making by collecting analyzing and transforming data into meaningful insights for stakeholders across the business. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong technical skills in Excel and Power BI and demonstrated experience working with complex datasets. As part of the Audit Operations team the analyst will contribute to operational efficiency reporting excellence and continuous improvement initiatives within the organization.
Data Analysis & Reporting
Gather clean validate and organize large datasets from multiple sources
Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends anomalies and insights
Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations using Power BI to support reporting and decision-making
Build automated and recurring reports that improve consistency and efficiency
What You Bring
35 years of relevant experience in data analysis reporting or business analytics
Advanced Excel proficiency (pivot tables formulas lookups Power Query data modeling)
Strong Power BI experience including DAX data modeling dashboard development and publishing
Ability to manipulate and analyze large datasets using various tools
Familiarity with SQL is an asset (not required but preferred)
Prior experience working with corporate or professional services environments is considered an asset
Compensation
The hourly rate for this contract position is $38.18 per hour (T4) or $46.60 per hour (Incorporated). Actual compensation will be determined based on experience qualifications and other relevant factors.
