What Youll Build

The SAP Internship Experience Program is SAPs global strategic paid internship program that provides university students with opportunities to find purpose in their careers. This is more than an internship; its the foundation for a career built on connection creativity and impact.

Position title: SAP iXp Intern Cloud Application Developer

Location: Sofia Bulgaria

Expected start date to end date: March/April 2026

You will:

• Be part of the engineering team that builds the Reference Data Repository an SAP-internal web app to centrally maintain and consume the companys reference data.
• Support frontend development () and use our technologies/platforms SAP BTP SAP BDC and SAP HANA Cloud
• Support tracking and analysis of engineering performance metrics (e.g. DORA metrics)
• Assist our Scrum teams and participate in Agile Release Train (ART) events
• Help our team by supporting small team projects and tasks

What Youll Bring

Were looking for someone who takesinitiative perseveres and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

• Enrolled in bachelors or masters program in Computer Science Software Engineering or related
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript experience with is a plus
• Experience with consuming RESTful APIs experience with OData V4 is a plus
• Curiosity about agile software engineering experience with Scrum SAFe and/or Jira is a plus
• Good communication skills and proactive working style
• Fluent in verbal and written English German is a plus

The team is spread over Germany Bulgaria and France and consists of experienced data engineers analysts architects developers and project managers who bring diverse expertise to the table.
