IN-SCHOOL SUSPENSION (ISS) INSTRUCTOR
The In-School Suspension Instructors responsibility is to provide structure and manage the activities at the In-School Suspension Program; to create and maintain a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning.
Area of Responsibility:
Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Fulfill responsibility for duties delineated in Teachers Job Description
- Orient students assigned to in-school suspension as to behavior required and penalties for infractions of rules
- Communicate with principal on a regular basis for direction
- Maintain program free of disruptive behavior
- Maintain accurate records
- Demonstrate knowledge of and compliance with school policies established by administration
- Monitor students work
- Monitor Saturday Detention
- Complete other work assigned by administrator

None
Qualifications:
High School Diploma; AA or BS preferred

The In-School Suspension Instructors responsibility is to provide structure and manage the activities at the In-School Suspension Program; to create and maintain a safe and orderly environment conducive to learning.
