What youll do
We are now looking for a Paralegal to strengthen our team at the Volvo Cars headquarters in Gothenburg. The role combines suitable legal tasks enabling efficient delivery of legal support to the company and administrative support.
As Paralegal within Global Legal you will be an important partner in ensuring efficient high quality legal support throughout Volvo Cars. Your role blends hands on legal tasks giving you valuable insight into a global in house legal function from day one with administrative support.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Legal Intellectual Property and Compliance & Ethics teams connecting daily with colleagues around the world. As Paralegal you will manage legal and corporate administration support in contract work and handle documentation. You will work in a high-paced professional dynamic and international environment. Initially you will primarily support legal counsels working with competition law giving you the chance to build strong expertise in this area. As you gain experience your role will expand offering excellent opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-quality administrative support to the legal team
Assist legal counsels in a variety of legal matters projects transactions and investigations
Serve as the first point of contact for basic competition law questions and escalate more complex matters
Operate IT and AI tools used within the Legal team
Interact with business colleagues across Volvo Cars organization
Manage and maintain legal and corporate documentation and support contract related work
Support the planning administration and roll out of trainings and e-learnings
What youll bring

We believe you have
A relevant academic background (Paralegal Business Administration Law or equivalent)
Experience from law firms courts or corporate legal teams is a plus
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to keep track of deadlines and documentation without losing sight of overall objectives
Comfortable working with digital tools and systems including MS Office. Interest in and experience from legal tech is an advantage
Excellent communication skills both written and spoken
Fluent in English both spoken and written
Reporting and Collaboration
In this role you will report to Head of Legal HQ Corporate Affairs. Your collaboration will mainly be with the Legal team IP team Compliance & Ethics team and business.
