Basic Job Functions:
The primary role of the Hot Mill/Pickle Line Mechanical Technician is to be part of a team supporting Hot Mill/Pickle Line operations with a focus on Safety Quality Reliability Costs and Continuous Improvement. The Hot Mill/Pickle Line Mechanical Technician duties include but are not limited tosafely troubleshooting maintaining repairing working around hydrochloric acid upgrading and supporting the Hot Mill and Pickle Lines with an emphasis on mechanical equipment and issues.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate lead and uphold safety policies practices procedures and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
- Technical Degree
- Hot Mill & Pickle Line experience
- Advanced knowledge of hydraulics
