As a Security Officer - Hospital Skywalk Patrol in Cleveland OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed patrol officer in a busy healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and stay highly visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will respond to questions and concerns with professionalism communicate clearly with staff and visitors and document observations. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by following Allied Universal post orders security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents calls for assistance and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with clinical staff and/or local first responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings entrances corridors parking areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards concerns or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and visitor flow by confirming authorization assisting with wayfinding and helping maintain orderly entry processes in accordance with site requirements.
• Document security-related activity by completing logs and incident reports communicating observations to site leadership and supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Vaccines are required for hospital sites.
• The client requires proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
